Brand new!Birdwatcher’s Paradise Lodge is the choice for nature lovers that want to be away from busy tourism. Here you can lodge and observe birds at the same place in the Monteverde area.Its quiet location on the 3 acres sized farm ‘’Finca Cielo Verde’’(Finca Green Sky) is beautiful. Birdwatchers can watch wildlife right from the huge terrace, which is surrounded by primary forest and secondary growth, as well as by coffee- and banana plants.Walking on our trail you can see Toucans, Trogons, Quetzals, the 3 wattled Bellbird, Mot Mots, Manakins, parrots, hummingbirds, Toldedos, hawks, woodpeckers, butterflies and other winged beauties of this zone with a little bit of luck. We have also seen a variety of mammals as raccoons, opossums, agoutis, foxes, bats, which come right to our house every night, between other more shy species. Finca Cielo Verde has a very special location. Birds and animals stay up here in the mountains to survive, because further down the Pacific slope the forests have been cut. Enjoy views of the mountains and of the Pacific Ocean from our trail.
