USA Hostels Grand Canyon is the closest hostel to the Grand Canyon. Its located in the middle of three of the most beautiful and breathtaking national parks in the western United States: Grand Canyon (North Rim), Zion, and Bryce Canyon. We're located in Kanab, Utah, about a 30 minute drive to Zion National Park, and 1 hour and 15 minutes to both the Grand Canyon's North Rim and Bryce Canyon, which makes it an ideal location for anyone wishing to visit all of the great Canyon National Parks! Whether you are hostelling your way around the country, biking or hiking and camping, we're your headquarters to see the beauty of the Redrocks, mountains, and canyons. Our dorm rooms each have their own private bathroom, including shower. We have three types of 6-bed dorm rooms: girls only, boys only and couples/siblings only (mixed). Most, if not all reviewers consider the North Rim to be the best location to visit the Grand Canyon. The difference between the North and South Rims are that the North Rim is much higher in elevation and is much less crowded. The North Rim has an elevation of 8000 feet, which makes it slightly cooler in the summer time. Its remoteness also means that there are much fewer visitors as compared to the throngs of tourists who pack the highly developed South Rim. Please keep in mind that the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is only open from mid-May through mid-October.Prices are per night per person, all taxes included.
